Baby Update!

So Friday we went to the high risk pregnancy specialist to check and make sure that there were no obstructions in the heart and there was not Thank God!!!!! I have been dreading that appointment because I was not sure if it was going to come out ok... so as of now, it looks as if we may have an actual normal delivery and actually bring a baby home this time around! We also confirmed that we are still having a baby boy... I was secretly hoping that Dr. Schwartz was going to tell me he made a mistake and that its a girl, but no such luck... I am actually finding myself really starting to like the sound of being a mommy of 2 boys! I have had such a close relationship with my little guy Mason, that having something like that again is definitely ok with me! I bought our nursery bedding and once that gets here, I can actually start paint colors and trim and decorating. Michael and I decided to take on the daunting task of putting new carpet in for our "Christmas present" this year, so I would like to get as much painting done through out the house as possible! I am also starting back at work part time on November 2nd!! I am only working 3 mornings a week, but I am starting to think that I have gotten a little over my head... every time I have a busy day my feet swell and my back is impossible to deal with, so with working, nursery, a 5 year old, and all the holidays, not to mention a trip to Disney, this baby is going to have to cooperate with the chaos! I will definitely put up belly pic soon... and pics of how the nursery is coming along! Until next time... I promise, it won't be this long!!!!!

What the ****?

So its been a few days and yesterday has been quite interesting... having your stomach tighten all day and all night to the point where it stops you dead in your tracks... what is that about? I went to dinner with my husband and son, ate, and left and could barely walk to the car... when I called they said it wasn't a big deal and I was probably experiencing braxton hicks contractions... at 18 weeks? I am convinced that they don't know what they are talking about... this went on all night long... so today I am extremely tired! We have our 18 week check up on Friday... wondering what they will do... also need to tell doctor about the swelling incident this weekend and some of this week... I'm sure they will tell me its fine... I am just a problem pregnant person! At this stage with Mason I was on bedrest... Can I ever just have a normal experience at anything?

First Blog Attempt!

So, the new "in" thing is blogging when your pregnant... so I thought about it and it sounds like a good idea to clue everyone in on what is going on in my head and heart as I go through this journey once again! As of Friday, September 11, 2009, I am officially 18 weeks pregnant. Finally we are approaching the half way mark and it is getting a little harder as the time goes by! For example, last night was my husband's 10 year high school reunion, and as I didn't want to dress in a tent, I wore something cute and cute little heels, and I ended up having to leave early with a sore back and swollen feet! I was only standing for 2 hours and not even the whole time! Definitely today I am paying for it, as I hurt all over, all over. All I wanted was to get out of the house and feel normal again! See what happens when I try? Belly pictures are coming this week, and I am getting pregnancy photos done on December 5th!
